Social & Brand @ Envy Gaming
In 2021, I joined Envy Gaming (Envy, Dallas Fuel, Dallas Empire – and now OpTic Gaming) as a Social Media Coordinator Intern to handle the @Envy Parent Brand social media accounts. In addition to my role, I became our in-house photographer (helping with media shoots, BTS, and partnership deliverables), and spearheaded the @Envy and @DallasFuel TikTok Channels: notably growing the @Envy TikTok nearly 240,000 followers within 3 months.
This page is a sub-page of my 2021 Year Review collection.
Being a TikTok Manager for UT Dallas for about a year prior to joining Envy Gaming, I knew the potential the platform had. TikTok has exceptional room for brand growth & exposure, easily 10x more than any other platform – and is great for growing a new/different audience rather than your primary platforms for esports: Twitter & Instagram.
From creating my first “organic” in-app TikTok featuring a walk-through tour of our Envy Downtown Office that reached over 670k views, to doing our 250,000 follower celebration video – I created and led a strategy for the platform for success.
In addition to my social media strategy & TikTok Content Creator work, I have done professional photography for quite some time – from launching my own photography business in 2020 during the Pandemic. At Envy, I became one of our in-house photographers for BTS shoots, media days, team/talent portraits, and partnership deliverables (Predator Gaming, Jack in the Box, CORSAIR, Scuff Gaming, Jack Link’s Elgato).
