Hey YOU! Are you a part of an esports club/team, or just a student? Do you work with social media, website updating, or a Discord community (or want to)? Learn a few new hacks, skills, and tips from the workshops I’m hosting this month in Evil Geniuses’ Collegiate Discord Server: The Genius League!

Collegiate Esports: Brand, Socials, and Program Identity – Tuesday, April 13th @ 8PM CST
This past week I held a workshop talking about the fundamentals for establishing your program’s digital identity, brand, and social media accounts to introduce yourself in the collegiate esports world. Myself and over 30+ participants went overĀ why social media is so important for your esports program, why establishing a brand & image is important, how to engage with your audience, how to setup a content calendar and get organized with your daily content, how to grow personal/athlete branding, and how to create a sponsorship deck & market your program to potential sponsors.

Collegiate Esports: Creating a Program Website (Or a Personal Website) – Tuesday, April 20th @ 8PM CSTĀ
This upcoming Tuesday, I’ll be holding my second in this series of “Growing A Collegiate Esports Program on a Student Budget” by going over how to create & launch a website for your program (or for yourself as well), and why it’s important. I will be doing a LIVE demo as well from a blank-slate website on getting it started, designing it, plugins to install, etc. For my purposes, we’ll be using WordPress as it’s one of the best open-source CMS platforms out there & covering how you can utilize it to its capability.

Collegaite Esports: Growing a Discord Community – Tuesday, April 27th @ 8PM CST
At the end of April, I’ll be covering how to create a well-versed Discord Server best suited for your program, and going over many ways to continue to grow your community. In addition, I’ll be speaking on how to get involved with Discord’s Community Programs such as the HypeSquad Program and Partner Program – and how each of these can help benefit your community!

I will be recording each workshop and most likely sharing them on YouTube! Check back here for me to update this article with the recording links! Should you have any further topics of workshops you want me to go over – feel free to let me know by shooting me a tweet on Twitter @erictigerawr!
